Spectators: 7005 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 80) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabiano Ramalho got the match started through his kick off. When Yuri Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the A.Z.Z FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Tepedino couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the match, VSKG Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Tepedino came free, but Jeremias Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo Carioca lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. If Yuri Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the match, Fabiano Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Massa. VSKG Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabiano Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabiano Ramalho in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, VSKG Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Ramalho came free, but Jeremias Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, A.Z.Z FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Enio Diniz struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Silvinho Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VSKG Clube. When Claudinei Magalhães came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the VSKG Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Magalhães couldn't finish the play. Enio Diniz's late challenge caught a A.Z.Z FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enio Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.Z.Z FC booed when VSKG Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Enio Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. VSKG Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Enio Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yuri Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, VSKG Clube's Delfim Rosa got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute Fabiano Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Enio Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enio Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in VSKG Clube's zone, Germano Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Massa came out of the goal and Germano Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Delfim Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VSKG Clube's protests and gave Delfim Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. Fabiano Ramalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Massa having to make a save. After 64 played minutes VSKG Clube got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Dionísio. Silvinho Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VSKG Clube's Jeremias Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Ramalho in the 71st minute of play. Jeremias Massa stood somewhat misplaced when Fabiano Ramalho came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 72 minute. Fabiano Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yuri Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Germano Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match, Yuri Tepedino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeremias Massa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A.Z.Z FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
