In the 4th minute of the match, Nilson Neiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josué Madureira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 6 minutes into the game, Wágner Loyola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Josué Madureira. Wágner Loyola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.Paulistano's Nilson Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Josué Madureira. That made the score 3-0 after 19 minutes of play. In the 25th minute, C.A.Paulistano's Wágner Loyola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Afonsinho Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Silva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Josué Madureira firmly grabbed it by the left post. David Mendonça succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 34th playminute. Pirapituba AD's Josué Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Mendonça in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Pirapituba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Silva came free, but Josué Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Neiva got free with Josué Madureira in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Duarte Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirapituba AD's protests and gave Duarte Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pirapituba AD! Josué Madureira had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Richard Tavares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Silva was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Pirapituba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Silva came free, but Josué Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Mendonça in the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Nilson Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Souza's late challenge caught a C.A.Paulistano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Souza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Pirapituba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Souza to maneuver through the defense. Josué Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Christiano Lara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonsinho Ferraz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 67 minute of play. After 75 played minutes Pirapituba AD got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Motta. Christiano Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Guedes in the 80th minute. Afonsinho Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Christiano Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Naldo Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirapituba AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiano Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A.Paulistano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Afonsinho Ferraz 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-2. 93 minutes into the match, Victor Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josué Madureira. Pirapituba AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2.
