After having played for 9 minutes, Renatinho Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passarinhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renatinho Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Donatello struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Luizão Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Passarinhos. After some careless play in the Passarinhos defense, Dedê Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Telmo Cruz. The Passarinhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Telmo Cruz should have stopped the shot. Almir Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Passarinhos's Nelson Coelho got a free kick in the 19th minute. Luizão Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Antunes in the 28th minute of play. Alan Quadros, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 34th minute, Almir Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cido Donatello took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Luizão Aguiar to make any attempt to save it. Cronapp FC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Passarinhos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alan Quadros took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Cleiton Castro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luizão Aguiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Madureira's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Luizão Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Renatinho Antunes sent off a good shot on target. Luizão Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Renatinho Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Passarinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatinho Antunes couldn't finish the play. Many of Passarinhos's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Passarinhos may have spent more time on the ball, but Cronapp FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
