Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Amapa's Luís da Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Ronaldo Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Enio Leme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amapa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haas the free kick. After 9 played minutes Amapa got a freekick which was hit by Enio Leme. After some careless play in the Amapa defense, Noel das Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitório Faria. The Amapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitório Faria should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Haas's Noel das Neves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitório Faria. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Ronaldo Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldo Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Haas booed when Amapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vitório Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válbson das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Salgado in the 38th minute of the match. Haas's Válbson das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís da Silveira in the 42nd minute of play. If Noel das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Amapa's Ronaldo Salgado made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válbson das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís da Silveira in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válbson das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitório Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel das Neves in the 67th minute of play. Válbson das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís da Silveira in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Haas's Walmir de Azevedo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Luís da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Válbson das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes, Amapa's Luís Gustavo Saldanha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Válbson das Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amapa reached it. Ronaldo Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson das Neves having to interfere. Kléberson de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kléberson de Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Haas's Kléberson de Toledo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Amapa's Luís Gustavo Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Haas had won after a very even match.
