The Dário Cosme was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Noel Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luizão Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Law FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Mangueira came free, but Dário Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Vítor de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Luizão Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Law FC. In the 25th minute, Almir Mangueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cronapp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 31 minutes, Nelsinho Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cronapp FC and the Law FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Law FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Clóvis Batista hit a great ball. Noel Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Aguiar having to interfere. Noel Saraiva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 37th playminute. If João Vítor de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cronapp FC's goalkeeper Luizão Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. Dário Cosme made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Dedê Falcão sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Saraiva in the 62nd minute of play forced Cronapp FC's goalkeeper Luizão Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
