After 24 played minutes Haas got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Cearense. Haas's Válbson das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Silva in the 26th minute of play. Válbson das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Neiva in the 28th minute of play. Válbson das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Silva's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Nilson Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válbson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Lara having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Haas's Manfredo Cavalcante got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Haas's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Silva came free, but Válbson das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
