With an all-out effort, Cronapp FC's César Aguiar threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Almir Mangueira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dieguinho Botelho in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizão Aguiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atlético Marechal - FDFDF's Moisés Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cronapp FC's Dedê Falcão came free and shot a quick shot against goal 28 minutes in the game, fortunately César Aguiar had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 32 minutes into the match, Moisés Hermes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cronapp FC's Luizão Aguiar. Luizão Aguiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Atlético Marechal - FDFDF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Victor Penha hit a great ball. If Moisés Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Moisés Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulão Pinho's late challenge caught a Atlético Marechal - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulão Pinho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cronapp FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Paulão Pinho hit a great ball. Atlético Marechal - FDFDF's Marco Vander couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cronapp FC. In the 46th minute, Moisés Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Atlético Marechal - FDFDF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moisés Hermes made a kick off. Dedê Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. César Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Atlético Marechal - FDFDF's Hernani Souza got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cronapp FC's zone, Dieguinho Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizão Aguiar came out of the goal and Dieguinho Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moisés Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cronapp FC's Luizão Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Cronapp FC from getting a goal against them. César Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Mangueira in the 65th minute of the match. Almir Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. César Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cronapp FC. When Moisés Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Atlético Marechal - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet.
