With a left leg Oscar Paraibano saved Metropolitano from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Eliseo Sandalio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Paraibano. Metropolitano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Sandalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. AD Jequieense made a substitution. André Trevisan replaced Doni Vasconcelos. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Metropolitano's goalkeeper Oscar Paraibano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over AD Jequieense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Metropolitano throughout the match.
