In the 27th minute, Bodo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zé Terra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Bodo's Vânderson Valadares got a free kick in the 28th minute. Manster Laion's Luís Fabiano Fernandez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bodo. After 31 played minutes Bodo got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Paes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléberson Paes during the 34th minute. Osvaldo Siqueira's late challenge caught a Manster Laion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd match minute, Bodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Juvenal Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
