Flavinho Andrade was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. GALO 13™'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 15th minute, Claudinei Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Jacinto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Naldo Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Fontes in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Nightmare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Mello to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Nightmare FC's protests and gave Egídio Jacinto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GALO 13™ booed when Nightmare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuca Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Nightmare FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lúcio Loyola hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see GALO 13™'s Christian Fontes in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 60 minutes into the match, Nightmare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Guimarães came free, but Naldo Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
