Eliseo Sandalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Juvenal Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Bodo got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Valadares. Eliseo Sandalio took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Abraão. Juvenal Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Glauco Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Abraão having to interfere. When Glauco Peres came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the AD Jequieense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauco Peres couldn't finish the play. Juvenal Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Bodo got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Valadares. After a defensive mix-up in Bodo's zone, Víktor Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Abraão came out of the goal and Víktor Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Bodo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AD Jequieense were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Sandalio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Sandalio scored 0-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Glauco Peres made a precise shot to the right of Juvenal Abraão. Bodo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 61 minutes into the match, Glauco Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juvenal Abraão. Bodo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glauco Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 64 minutes into the game, Eliseo Sandalio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juvenal Abraão. Eliseo Sandalio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Eliseo Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Abraão having to interfere. AD Jequieense's Armando Jacinto was substituted for Eliseo Sandalio. Juvenal Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Jacinto in the 79th minute of the match. Osvaldo Siqueira's late challenge caught a AD Jequieense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Bodo got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Siqueira. When the match was over AD Jequieense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bodo throughout the match.
