In the 20th minute Samuca Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Paraense in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Naldo Figueiredo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wesley Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Wesley Alvarenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuca Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute of the match Germano Teles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Alvarenga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Chelsea Fc getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cristian Breckenfeld hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Chelsea Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Wellington Moraes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 39th minute Bebeto Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Naldo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naldo Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Bebeto Paraense sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Bebeto Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuca Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Eurico Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 57 in the game by Renan Maranhense from a close distance when the talented Wesley Alvarenga managed to make a qualified save. Chelsea Fc's players were relieved. Naldo Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea Fc. After some careless play in the Nightmare FC defense, César Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naldo Figueiredo. The Nightmare FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naldo Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Chelsea Fc booed when Nightmare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Alvarenga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Jacinto in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Bebeto Paraense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naldo Figueiredo was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Wellington Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bebeto Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Bebeto Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wellington Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Naldo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gugu Abreu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Naldo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Paraense in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chelsea Fc had played much better football throughout.
