They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benedito Pena made the kick off in the second half. Frederico de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Guto Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaburuna FC's protests and gave Guto Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. Jaburuna FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
