Spectators: 6442 (Terracing: 4800, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Vidal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Zézinho Mota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederico de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Teixeira in the 16th minute of play. When Marcus Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altair FC's protests and gave Marcus Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Vidal hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Corrêa in the 21st minute of play forced Altair FC's goalkeeper Nilson Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Yan de Amorim could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Nilson Quaresma however easily saved by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Marcus Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zézinho Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Frederico de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Antônio Carlos Matos came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Altair FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Matos couldn't finish the play. Frederico de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Vidal's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Bernardo Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Mota in the 34th minute of play forced Jaburuna FC's goalkeeper Frederico de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Benê Rosado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederico de Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Altair FC booed when Jaburuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Corrêa in the 42nd minute of play forced Altair FC's goalkeeper Nilson Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes, Jaburuna FC's Diamantino da Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilson Quaresma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jaburuna FC reached it. In the 48th minute of the match Benê Rosado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederico de Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Augusto Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaburuna FC's Frederico de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Moura in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jaburuna FC's Guto Teixeira got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Corrêa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nilson Quaresma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nilson Quaresma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Corrêa in the 61st minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Jaburuna FC got a freekick which was hit by Guto Teixeira. 64 minutes into the match, Altair FC's Zézinho Mota broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Frederico de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Moura in the 66th minute of the match. Frederico de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Frederico de Amorim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benê Rosado. Nilson Quaresma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Teixeira in the 71st minute of play.
