Bernardo Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wellington Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pedro Oliveiras short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Nilson Quaresma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The long shot by Cacá de Mendonça in the 81st minute really tested Nilson Quaresma's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. João Pedro Neves's late challenge caught a Altair FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Pedro Neves helped the player get up and apologised. João Pedro Neves hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Nilson Quaresma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Bezerra in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Altair FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Barreto came free, but Nilson Quaresma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altair FC's Nilson Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Oliveira in the 89th minute of play. Bernardo Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
