Soccer Kings United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaraguá SC the free kick. The supporters of Jaraguá SC booed when Soccer Kings United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Joel Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraguá SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Soccer Kings United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Perez to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Joel Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Soccer Kings United's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Pena came free, but Artur Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Lira in the 19th minute of play. Soccer Kings United's Luisinho Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Renato Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Artur Sergipano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31stth minute of the game Edu Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaraguá SC's Eurico Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luisinho Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eurico Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edu Lira came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Soccer Kings United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Lira couldn't finish the play. Eurico Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Pena in the 40th minute of play forced Soccer Kings United's goalkeeper Artur Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Luisinho Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soccer Kings United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Salgado was the one to do the kick off. Eurico Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes Luisinho Salgado rounded Jaraguá SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Luisinho Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Soccer Kings United's Luisinho Salgado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eurico Loureiro. That made the score 0-4 after 68 minutes of play. If Luisinho Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edu Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eurico Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Pena in the 82nd minute of play forced Soccer Kings United's goalkeeper Artur Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soccer Kings United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
