Nilton Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.R.Fla Master's zone, Tião Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Araújo came out of the goal and Tião Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltazar Trevisan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Nilton Araújo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Baltazar Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Financial MK's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltazar Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, C.R.Fla Master's Nilton Araújo got control of the ball when Baltazar Trevisan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Adriano Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Financial MK's protests and gave Adriano Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Adriano Mandrak hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jefferson Romero in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Queirós saved Financial MK from getting behind. Jefferson Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilton Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltazar Trevisan in the 36th minute. Franklin Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Romero in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Adriano Mandrak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilton Araújo. The goal made the score 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, C.R.Fla Master's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Trevisan came free, but Nilton Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilton Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Vivaldo da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Trevisan took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Araújo. Nilton Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of C.R.Fla Master booed when Financial MK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Baltazar Trevisan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Adriano Mandrak took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Araújo. Nilton Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. C.R.Fla Master's Nilton Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tião Magalhães in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Trevisan in the 87th minute of play forced C.R.Fla Master's goalkeeper Nilton Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tião Magalhães got in the 91st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nilton Araújo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Financial MK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Egídio Santos hit a great ball. The supporters of C.R.Fla Master booed when Financial MK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.R.Fla Master's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Financial MK had won, even though C.R.Fla Master had held more of the ball.
