The referee ignored Formiga Atômica's protests and gave Luís Fábio de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Fábio de Godoi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Elano Hermes came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan de Alcântara could save by the left post. Juan de Alcântara came out of the goal and Elano Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan de Alcântara having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Aordror F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando da Mata came free, but Guilherme Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Aordror F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando da Mata in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Albertinho Alves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilherme Trancoso. The goal made the score 2-3. With an all-out effort, Formiga Atômica's Guilherme Trancoso threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gernando da Mata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
