Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Schmidt took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Tomás Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Erik Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Izumi F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arenosa the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Izumi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Soares to maneuver through the defense. If Gildo Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Arenosa got a freekick which was hit by Cássio do Nascimento. Gildo Ferreira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but André Luiz Neto firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Dito Quirino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of André Luiz Neto. Gildo Ferreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, André Luiz Neto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Luisinho Batista fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arenosa's protests and gave Luisinho Batista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Arenosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Batista to maneuver through the defense. Gildo Ferreiras short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got André Luiz Neto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. André Luiz Neto made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Gildo Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd match minute, Arenosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Arenosa were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Izumi F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Natanael Aparecido took the corner. Tomás Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Pereira having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dito Quirino to make the kick off. When Tomás Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Arenosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Schmidt couldn't finish the play. Duda Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Rui Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arenosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duda Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Schmidt in the 74th minute of the match. Gildo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Neto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Quirino in the 77th minute of play forced Arenosa's goalkeeper André Luiz Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Duda Pereira made a huge save. Rui Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Duda Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Gildo Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izumi F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dito Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izumi F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dito Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Luiz Neto came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Izumi F.C.'s Gildo Ferreira. But to his dismay, Gildo Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Arenosa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
