After 29 played minutes Formiga Atômica got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Alves. SCCP Spanta Rebaixamento's Ricardinho do Vale suffered a concussion in the 35th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The supporters of SCCP Spanta Rebaixamento booed when Formiga Atômica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doriva Cardoso during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute César Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SCCP Spanta Rebaixamento's zone, Doriva Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Guerra came out of the goal and Doriva Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Sena hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Formiga Atômica's Doriva Cardoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franklin Guerra. Franklin Guerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 85thth minute of the game César Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formiga Atômica's Juan de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Juan de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Vasconcelos in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Formiga Atômica's goal looked a bit too open when César Marinho came free, but Juan de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Doriva Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The SCCP Spanta Rebaixamento supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Formiga Atômica's performance. The match ended with a win for Formiga Atômica.
