In the 3rd minute, Chiquinho Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernandão Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandão Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Mangueira in the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind C a r t o l i n h a - SP's goalkeeper Delfim Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiquinho Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The C a r t o l i n h a - SP fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when C a r t o l i n h a - SP's Telmo Coelho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernandão Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Coelho in the 40th minute of the match. When Júlio Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the C a r t o l i n h a - SP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Mangueira couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, SkillZone's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Coelho came free, but Fernandão Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Telmo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telmo Coelho was the one to do the kick off. Delfim Lima came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SkillZone's Leopoldo Marquez. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 59 minutes into the game, Dito Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C a r t o l i n h a - SP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SkillZone the free kick. In the 59th minute, Dito Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerson Vasconcelos, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Delfim Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Berger in the 63rd minute of the match. If Leopoldo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Vasconcelos, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Delfim Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Berger in the 76th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, C a r t o l i n h a - SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Gerson Vasconcelos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delfim Lima skillfully saved the ball. SkillZone's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
