Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Confiança's Sílvio Luís Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Penha in the 25th minute of play. The Vasco Ipameri fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Vasco Ipameri's Donato Penha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luís Freire having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Penha in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luís Freire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademar Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Ipameri's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
