Vendinha's Doriva Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Penha in the 8th minute of play. When Renatinho Zanette fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vendinha's protests and gave Renatinho Zanette a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Donato Penha sped through Vendinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Doriva Amorim. Doriva Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Donato Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doriva Amorim was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Donato Penha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Amorim. Doriva Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Vasco Ipameri's Marcelinho Ferreira got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Renatinho Zanette shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogério Ceni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Donato Penhas short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Doriva Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Vasco Ipameri's Donato Penha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doriva Amorim. That made the score 0-6 after 67 minutes of play. Donato Penhas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Doriva Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 73 minutes, Ademar Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vasco Ipameri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Vasco Ipameri fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Vasco Ipameri's Donato Penha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 83 minutes Vendinha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Maia who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Maia made a great header on Vasco Ipameri's corner, it was just that Vendinha's Doriva Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Sílvio Luís Tepedino in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Vasco Ipameri's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
