Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Telmo Madureira got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute, Raí de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geraldo Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 13th minute, Tauarua's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raí de Almeida fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Raí de Almeida succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 15th playminute. When Sílvio Luiz Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Tauarua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Luiz Meireles couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Telmo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leria FC's Armandinho de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Vale in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Vítor Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tauarua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, one of Tauarua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Adriano Prata shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience was convinced that Telmo Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Carvalho was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Elivélton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armandinho de Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elivélton Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. Armandinho de Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elivélton Vale went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sílvio Luiz Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luiz Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Tauarua got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Meireles. Geraldo Carvalho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adriano Prata. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Ortiz to make the kick off. Geraldo Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Madureira in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Leria FC booed when Tauarua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Madureira struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Geraldo Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leria FC. Pedrão de Lima took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geraldo Carvalho. Geraldo Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Paulinho Marques hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Raí de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raí de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tauarua getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Danilo de Sousa hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Adriano Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luiz Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho de Lara having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leria FC's Hélder Meirelles got a free kick in the 91st minute. Leria FC's Armandinho de Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Leria FC from getting a goal against them. Raí de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Geraldo Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leria FC had won after a very even match.
