Eliseu Vasconcelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo da Mata's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute Romeu Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Parnamirim F.C.'s Elivélton Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Marquez in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Real Parnamirim F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Baptista to maneuver through the defense. If Leonel Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Anselmo da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Itapiruçu booed when Real Parnamirim F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeu Marquez in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elivélton Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseu Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Real Parnamirim F.C.'s Anselmo da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Vasconcelos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. A sloppy throw-in by Ezequiel Garcia in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Parnamirim F.C.'s Arthur Gaspar. Anselmo da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Paulo Tavares hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Dorival Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the last second Eliseu Vasconcelos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Anselmo da Mata in the 94thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dorival Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorival Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Itapiruçu's Dorival Batista got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Itapiruçu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Parnamirim F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
