Senhor da Erva's Celsinho Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Senhor da Erva from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Guimarães in the 12th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Dé da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adilson Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Celsinho Lopes made a huge save. After 34 played minutes Senhor da Erva got a freekick which was hit by Didi Baiano. Senhor da Erva's Celsinho Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Guimarães in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Senhor da Erva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Baiano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Senhor da Erva's zone, Adilson Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Lopes came out of the goal and Adilson Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Imbozal EC's Erik Guimarães in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Senhor da Erva's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adilson Galvão got free with Celsinho Lopes in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Guimarães to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Senhor da Erva's goalkeeper Celsinho Lopes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Erik Guimarães made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho Lopes. Senhor da Erva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Adilson Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Lopes having to interfere. Erik Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adilson Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Erik Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbozal EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celsinho Lopes came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Imbozal EC's Erik Guimarães. But to his dismay, Erik Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Adilson Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Senhor da Erva's Marco Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 75th minute. Celsinho Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Imbozal EC's Erik Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celsinho Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Galvão in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
