The supporters of Crimson Wolves booed when Arsenal Dark FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurinho Romero in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Crimson Wolves getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edson Cosme hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Crimson Wolves's Maurinho Romero got a free kick in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto de Andrade in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jacinto de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jacinto de Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruy Brito was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Crimson Wolves's goalkeeper Ruy Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Andrade in the 32nd minute of play forced Crimson Wolves's goalkeeper Ruy Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Caio Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal Dark FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Crimson Wolves's Ruy Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Donato in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Andrade in the 39th minute of play forced Crimson Wolves's goalkeeper Ruy Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruy Brito having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Arsenal Dark FC's Jacinto de Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruy Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto de Andrade in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zé Roberto Pimenta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faustão Motta. 1-1. Faustão Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When Serafim Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Crimson Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafim Bueno couldn't finish the play. Arsenal Dark FC's Moisés Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruy Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Luz in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto de Andrade in the 70th minute of play forced Crimson Wolves's goalkeeper Ruy Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mário de Castro got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Faustão Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Bueno in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes, Dedé Luz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal Dark FC and the Crimson Wolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dedé Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Arsenal Dark FC's Jacinto de Andrade in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Caio Carneiro hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Zé Roberto Pimenta hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Many of Arsenal Dark FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Arsenal Dark FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Crimson Wolves were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
