Garopada SS's Ulisses Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedrinho Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kauan Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Dracena in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes The Inquisitorial Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Goiano. Eduardo Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Kauan Teixeira made a huge save. Eduardo Dracena succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Kauan Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eduardo Dracena sent off a good shot on target. Nelsinho Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Garopada SS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ivo Toledo hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, Garopada SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Mazza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Branco in the 37th minute of play forced Garopada SS's goalkeeper Sílvio Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelsinho Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sílvio Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nelsinho Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Clemente Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho Travassos made a great header on The Inquisitorial Monkeys's corner, it was just that Garopada SS's Sílvio Moreira managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Raimundo Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Clemente Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garopada SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Inquisitorial Monkeys the free kick. Pedrinho Travassos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes Garopada SS got a freekick which was hit by Victor Bertassi. Sílvio Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Nogueira in the 58th minute of the match. Eduardo Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Teixeira having to interfere. Nelsinho Brancos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Sílvio Moreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Garopada SS's Sílvio Moreira got control of the ball when Nelsinho Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sílvio Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Branco in the 70th minute. A collision led to The Inquisitorial Monkeys getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sidney Varela hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Garopada SS's Ivo Toledo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kauan Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The Inquisitorial Monkeys's Kauan Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Dracena in the 83rd minute of play. Eduardo Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kauan Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
