Nelsinho Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Guto Antunes made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Nelsinho Branco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Inquisitorial Monkeys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenílson Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Kauan Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Simão in the 22nd minute of play. If Bebeto Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. With a left leg Kauan Teixeira saved The Inquisitorial Monkeys from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Nilton de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tooncast FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenílson Maranhense's late challenge caught a The Inquisitorial Monkeys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenílson Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. Lenílson Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Wágner Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Inquisitorial Monkeys and the Tooncast FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes The Inquisitorial Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Prestes. Guto Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Nogueira in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Simão in the 42nd minute of play forced The Inquisitorial Monkeys's goalkeeper Kauan Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kauan Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wágner Prestes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, The Inquisitorial Monkeys's Wágner Prestes got a free kick in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Bebeto Simão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Teixeira was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Bebeto Simão in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 80th minute, Bebeto Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, The Inquisitorial Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Simão came free, but Kauan Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauan Teixeira came out of the goal and Bebeto Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The The Inquisitorial Monkeys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tooncast FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
