Victor Donato struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Celsinho Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal Dark FC. If Jacinto de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celsinho Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto de Andrade's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Didi Baiano hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Caio Carneiro's late challenge caught a Senhor da Erva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Arsenal Dark FC booed when Senhor da Erva was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto de Andrade kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 46thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Senhor da Erva's keeper Celsinho Lopes was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano de Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano de Senna in the 73rd minute of play forced Arsenal Dark FC's goalkeeper Faustão Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Lopes having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Arsenal Dark FC's Jacinto de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celsinho Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 88th minute, Victor Donato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celsinho Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Arsenal Dark FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
