After having played for 3 minutes, Chico Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teresina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egídio de Souza in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Egídio de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Diguinho Galvão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Teresina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Nogueira came free, but Leandro de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Ronaldão Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro de Amaral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dida Lucas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egídio de Souza in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diguinho Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dida Lucas's late challenge caught a Teresina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Dida Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teresina FC's Egídio de Souza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clockwork Orange. Armando Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Egídio de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Galvão having to interfere. If Egídio de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio de Souza to make the kick off. Egídio de Souzas short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Diguinho Galvão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frank Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Diguinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Clockwork Orange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Paraense to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Egídio de Souza put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Diguinho Galvão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Paraense in the 67th minute of play forced Teresina FC's goalkeeper Leandro de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Teresina FC's Rômulo Furtado got a free kick in the 68th minute. Frank Pirani struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Diguinho Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teresina FC. Frank Pirani was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Egídio de Souza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Diguinho Galvão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Egídio de Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Teresina FC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio de Souza. In the 95th match minute, Clockwork Orange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Teresina FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
