Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evaristo Massa started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Sem Saída FC's goalkeeper Arthur de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Mattos. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Claudinho Moura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 9 minutes into the match, Sem Saída FC's goalkeeper Arthur de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nildo de Medeiros. 10 minutes into the match, Sem Saída FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo de Medeiros came free, but Arthur de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naldo Simões's late challenge caught a Sem Saída FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naldo Simões helped the player get up and apologised. Naldo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Jacinto Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséias Mattos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arthur de Azevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Sem Saída FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jacinto Fontes hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Claudinho Moura fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arthur de Azevedo, passed just outside the right post. When Claudinho Moura came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Serraninho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinho Moura couldn't finish the play. Sem Saída FC's Arthur de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Massa in the 27th minute of play. Cesinha Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Evaristo Massa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur de Azevedo. Sem Saída FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Cesinha Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Célio das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Célio das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesinha Urbano made a kick off. Cesinha Urbano struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Célio das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sem Saída FC. Evandro Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sem Saída FC's Cesinha Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Cesinha Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Célio das Neves. Serraninho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesinha Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Paulão Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Azevedo having to interfere. Arthur de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Massa in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Sem Saída FC booed when Serraninho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Serraninho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Célio das Neves was a little too slow when Cesinha Urbano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-2. Cesinha Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Célio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesinha Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sem Saída FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
