Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo Tasso took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Desgraça FC's Clemente Paiva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dênis Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Aírton Trigo made a huge save. Dênis Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Aírton Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Desgraça FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anselmo Tasso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aírton Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Penha in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Wágner Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Desgraça FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Sampaio. Thanks to some nice moves Dênis Penha could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Aírton Trigo however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Tasso in the 46th minute of play forced Desgraça FC's goalkeeper Aírton Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Carazinho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Desgraça FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josué Oliveira made a kick off. When André Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desgraça FC's protests and gave André Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Desgraça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Vargas to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Desgraça FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Penha came free, but Aírton Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Carazinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Nunes. Dênis Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aírton Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Wágner Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Desgraça FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Penha came free, but Aírton Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Tasso in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Oliveira in the 74th minute of play forced Carazinho FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carazinho FC's Sidnei Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Desgraça FC's Gustavo Coelho got a free kick in the 78th minute. Anselmo Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aírton Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Tasso in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Carazinho FC booed when Desgraça FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Desgraça FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. André Vargas hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Josué Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Quirino. Josué Oliveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Desgraça FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
