Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcelo Loyola made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6 minutes of play, Charrua FC's Marcelo Loyola made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fernando Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Rufa Boys's zone, Marcelo Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Urbano came out of the goal and Marcelo Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, André Luís Rosa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Charrua FC's Francisco Mesquita. Francisco Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelo Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute of the match, André Luís Rosa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francisco Mesquita was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Charrua FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Azevedo hit a great ball. If André Luís Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when André Luís Rosa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Charrua FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Celsinho Godoi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Rosa got free with Francisco Mesquita in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Luís Rosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Francisco Mesquita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Mesquita was a little too slow when Amauri Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amauri Santos to make the kick off. Charrua FC's Francisco Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Santos in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Rufa Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Loyola came free, but Luiz Fernando Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Rosa in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Mesquita saved Charrua FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luís Rosa in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Amauri Santos put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Francisco Mesquita. Rufa Boys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Marcelo Loyola scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Fernando Urbano, making the score, 3-2. After 74 minutes, Amauri Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rufa Boys and the Charrua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amauri Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Francisco Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Santos in the 81st minute of the match. In the 89th minute André Luís Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Amauri Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Marcelo Loyola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fernando Urbano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Charrua FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rufa Boys.
