The referee ignored Real Madruga's protests and gave Cássio Teles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Real Madruga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Teles to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Martins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hortêncio Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Bernardo Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madruga. Anselmo Tasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elivélton Donatello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Anselmo Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Donatello having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Tasso came free, but Elivélton Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Real Madruga's Elivélton Donatello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Real Madruga from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Real Madruga's protests and gave Wesley Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. Elivélton Donatello came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Carazinho FC's Anselmo Tasso. But to his dismay, Anselmo Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Anselmo Tasso made the kick off in the second half. Hortêncio Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Penha in the 58th minute of play forced Real Madruga's goalkeeper Elivélton Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elivélton Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Tasso in the 59th minute of the match. Carazinho FC's Bernardo Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Velloso in the 61st minute of play. Bernardo Quirino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Aparecido in the 64th minute. Laércio Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Anselmo Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Real Madruga booed when Carazinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diguinho Passos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Bernardo Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Real Madruga booed when Carazinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Dênis Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elivélton Donatello was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Anselmo Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carazinho FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
