When André Luís Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Rufa Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Rosa couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Ian Marques from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Aírton Trigo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rufa Boys's André Luís Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amauri Santos struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Aírton Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rufa Boys. After 42 played minutes Desgraça FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Sampaio. Amauri Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Trigo having to interfere. Aírton Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when José Vítor Prata put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Rufa Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Desgraça FC:s goal. Rufa Boys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
