Vaca Veia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rufa Boys the free kick. After 87 played minutes Vaca Veia got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Braga. If André Luís Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Décio Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Santos in the 95th minute of the match. Rufa Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
