An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Gonçalves in the 3rd minute of play forced Real Madruga's goalkeeper Elivélton Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Real Madruga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Wiliam Gonçalves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Madruga's Elivélton Donatello. Elivélton Donatello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mané Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Mané Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elivélton Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Gonçalves in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Wiliam Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elivélton Donatello was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Laércio Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Décio Soeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The Real Madruga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vaca Veia were winning 1-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mané Mangueira got free with Elivélton Donatello in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 played minutes Real Madruga got a freekick which was hit by Almir Amaral. A hard shot by Aloísio Britto from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Elivélton Donatello's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Elivélton Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Elivélton Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Gonçalves in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Madruga's Fred Paes got a free kick in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Gonçalves came free, but Elivélton Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Hortêncio Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Hortêncio Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Décio Soeiro was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Mané Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Real Madruga booed when Vaca Veia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 played minutes Vaca Veia got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Tasso. Charles Velloso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Vaca Veia's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Velloso came free, but Décio Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaca Veia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
