Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rufa Boys's Amauri Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Celso Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the game, Rufa Boys's André Luís Rosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anderson Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bruninho Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Faustão Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Urbano. Rufa Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustão Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Abreu in the 13th minute of play forced Rufa Boys's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rufa Boys booed when CJ HENRIQUE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Rosa in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anderson Viana saved CJ HENRIQUE FC from getting behind. Bruninho Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Luiz Fernando Urbano made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, CJ HENRIQUE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Santos came free, but Anderson Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Vito Galvão struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Anderson Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rufa Boys. In the 39th minute, Amauri Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Rufa Boys's Luiz Fernando Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Abreu in the 42nd minute of play. Rufa Boys's Luiz Fernando Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Rufa Boys from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Lauro Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustão Abreu made a kick off. Bruninho Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Rosa in the 56th minute of the match. Vito Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Anderson Viana made a huge save. Bruninho Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Luiz Fernando Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Amauri Santos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Anderson Viana 62 minutes into the match. Bruninho Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fernando Urbano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruninho Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. André Luís Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Anderson Viana made a huge save. 71 minutes into the game, Artur Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CJ HENRIQUE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rufa Boys the free kick. A collision led to Rufa Boys getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Léo Saldanha hit a great ball. Bruninho Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Urbano having to interfere. Lauro Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rufa Boys's zone, Faustão Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Urbano came out of the goal and Faustão Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A long shot from José Vítor Prata in the 94th minute of play was well struck, but Anderson Viana made a really good save at the right post. When the final whistle went the supporters of Rufa Boys were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant CJ HENRIQUE FC side.
