Décio Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Décio Soeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vaca Veia's Décio Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Vaca Veia from getting a goal against them. Clemente Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Décio Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Gonçalves in the 31st minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Vaca Veia's goalkeeper Décio Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Paiva. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiliam Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Josué Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Desgraça FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Wiliam Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aírton Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Trigo having to interfere. Josué Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Soeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josué Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Paiva struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Décio Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desgraça FC. Desgraça FC's Josué Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Josué Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desgraça FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vaca Veia for a fine match.
