Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laércio Velloso started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Cearense in the 3rd minute of play forced Real Madruga's goalkeeper Elivélton Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lauro Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the CJ HENRIQUE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Cearense couldn't finish the play. When CJ HENRIQUE FC's Faustão Abreu in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of CJ HENRIQUE FC booed when Real Madruga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Madruga's Norberto Toledo got a free kick in the 17th minute. Elivélton Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Faustão Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madruga's zone, Bruninho Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Donatello came out of the goal and Bruninho Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, CJ HENRIQUE FC's Anderson Viana got control of the ball when Hortêncio Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Charles Velloso fired a really elegant long shot, but Anderson Viana threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Bruninho Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Abreu came free, but Elivélton Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Donatello having to interfere. Elivélton Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Abreu in the 48th minute of play. After the first half CJ HENRIQUE FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Faustão Abreu made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Artur Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CJ HENRIQUE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lauro Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Donatello made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Bruninho Salles sent off a good shot on target. Faustão Abreu in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elivélton Donatello, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Faustão Abreu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elivélton Donatello came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustão Abreu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Lauro Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elivélton Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Anderson Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Faustão Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Elivélton Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elivélton Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Madruga's Elivélton Donatello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madruga from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Real Madruga's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Batista came free, but Elivélton Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Lauro Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Donatello having to interfere. Faustão Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Artur Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. CJ HENRIQUE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivélton Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruninho Salles got free with Elivélton Donatello in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
