Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juvenal Dionísio started the match with the kick off. Alessandro Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charrua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Vitinho the free kick. After 4 played minutes Charrua FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Azevedo. Guto da Costa, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jaime Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Coutinho in the 13th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Armando Coutinho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Charrua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Real Vitinho's goalkeeper Jaime Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Coutinho. Armando Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Nico Siqueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaime Tasso. Real Vitinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guto da Costa shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Francisco Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvenal Dionísio went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Dionísio in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Real Vitinho's Agnaldo Paraibano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Juvenal Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Mesquita having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Charrua FC's goalkeeper Francisco Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juvenal Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute.
