Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Alexandre Magalhães started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Alyatan FC booed when SpartacuS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, SpartacuS's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Severo came free, but Manuel Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Alyatan FC's zone, Filipe Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmir Gaspar came out of the goal and Filipe Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltazar Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Gaspar having to interfere. Alexandre Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paes having to interfere. Yuri Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Paes came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Alyatan FC's Yuri Severo. But to his dismay, Yuri Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. SpartacuS's Manuel Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Severo in the 36th minute of play. If Yuri Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, SpartacuS's Eduardo Dante got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alyatan FC's zone, Filipe Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltazar Luz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Alyatan FC's Arthur Rossi got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltazar Luz was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltazar Luz in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmir Gaspar saved Alyatan FC from getting behind. Kauan Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Paes having to interfere. Walmir Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Luz in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes Alyatan FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Rocha who took care of the corner kick. Eduardo Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Yuri Severo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Paes. SpartacuS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Severo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 72 minutes into the game, SpartacuS's Baltazar Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmir Gaspar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Yuri Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Manuel Paes made a huge save. Alyatan FC's Kauan Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuri Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Perivaldo Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Yuri Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alyatan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alyatan FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roberto Rocha was slow to take the kick. During this time SpartacuS's players had a chance to rest. Roberto Rocha made a great header on SpartacuS's corner, it was just that Alyatan FC's Walmir Gaspar managed to reach the ball for a save. The Alyatan FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alyatan FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
