Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eugênio Oliveira kicked off to start the match. Maquine SC's Michel Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Oliveira in the 4th minute of play. Michel Leme made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Durvalino Mattos sent off a good shot on target. Michel Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Oliveira in the 6th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Lima. Geovani Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Michel Leme was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Patrick Falcão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrick Falcão really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Eugênio Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Leme having to interfere. Maquine SC's Michel Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Maquine SC from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maquine SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Breno Aguiar was slow to take the kick. During this time Liverpool FC's players had a chance to rest. Breno Aguiar made a great header on Liverpool FC's corner, it was just that Maquine SC's Michel Leme managed to reach the ball for a save. Chiquinho Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Chiquinho Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Tepedino came out of the goal and Chiquinho Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Michel Leme came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool FC's Durvalino Mattos. But to his dismay, Durvalino Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Baptista came free, but Edgar Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Tepedino was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Leonardo Esteves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Esteves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Hortêncio Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Esteves might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Esteves ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Tepedino having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, André Luís Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maquine SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. In the 74th minute, André Luís Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Mattos in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Liverpool FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonardo Esteves fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edgar Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Christian Messias got a free kick in the 84th minute. If César Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Maquine SC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Maquine SC may have spent more time on the ball, but Liverpool FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
