Xarqueda's Víktor Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Vander in the 69th minute of play. Emílio Chaves lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pontale fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Xarqueda's Ciro Cardoso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Percy Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 96th minute, Zé Roberto Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Percy Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Xarqueda were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Pontale side.
