Fábio Eger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, one of Djow FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Djow FC. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Acarau SC's Giovani Fantini got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benjamim de Andrade. Jarbas Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim de Andrade having to interfere. Giovani Fantini had several of the Djow FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Benjamim de Andrade as he didn't even see the shot coming. Allan Berger's late challenge caught a Djow FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Berger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Allan Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Benjamim de Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Acarau SC's Jarbas Gomes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jarbas Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Djow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Fantini came free, but Benjamim de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovani Fantini made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Djow FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Gomes came free, but Benjamim de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Gomes in the 57th minute of play. Severino Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Acarau SC booed when Djow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Giovani Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamim de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Gomes in the 65th minute of play forced Djow FC's goalkeeper Benjamim de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovani Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim de Andrade having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Acarau SC's Allan Berger got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarbas Gomes in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 played minutes Acarau SC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Tavares. In the 86th minute Gilberto Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Djow FC's goalkeeper Benjamim de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
