Lenílson de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. William Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Rosado in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Garcia saved Gladiadores FC from getting behind. During the 19th minute of the match Edgard Vasconcelos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgard Vasconcelos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Gladiadores FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edgard Vasconcelos hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Bolota FC's Guilherme Vasconcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Glauco Rosado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. William Garcia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the game, Nando Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gladiadores FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bolota FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Gladiadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Nando Ortiz. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores FC's zone, Guilherme Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Garcia came out of the goal and Guilherme Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gladiadores FC's goalkeeper William Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Gilvan Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolota FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gladiadores FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bolota FC's Gilvan Mineiro got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores FC's zone, Glauco Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Garcia came out of the goal and Glauco Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lenílson de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Guilherme Vasconcelos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving William Garcia. That made the score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Glauco Rosado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Vasconcelos in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play Bolota FC's Gilvan Mineiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 66th match minute, Bolota FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. Ian Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cido Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gladiadores FC's William Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Gladiadores FC from getting a goal against them. Glauco Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Garcia having to interfere. Glauco Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. William Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tales Couto hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bolota FC booed when Gladiadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glauco Rosado got free with William Garcia in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bolota FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
