Spectators: 7168 (Terracing: 5378, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 142) The crowd rose to their feet as Pendencias AD's Paulinho Freire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabrício Recife. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. When Virgílio Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the RAZONETE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. If Eduardo Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pendencias AD getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mathias de Medeiros hit a great ball. Cido Dionísio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Pendencias AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Virgílio Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Koehler's late challenge caught a RAZONETE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 29 minutes, Mathias de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendencias AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Eduardo Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eduardo Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the RAZONETE FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 48th minute, Cipriano Ramalho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabrício Recife. The goal made the score 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Eduardo Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Passos in the 56th minute of play forced Pendencias AD's goalkeeper Cido Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, RAZONETE FC's Eduardo Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cido Dionísio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pendencias AD's zone, Eduardo Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cido Dionísio came out of the goal and Eduardo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Martins hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Fabrício Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. RAZONETE FC's Fabrício Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulinho Freire in the 81st minute of play. Tiaguinho Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Pendencias AD's Zé Carlos da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pendencias AD's Dorival Bertassi got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 98 minutes, Virgílio Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAZONETE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
