In the 17th match minute, Trovão MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Buritama's Ivo Pinheiro managed to work through Trovão MZC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. In the 26th minute of the match José Carlos Ferraz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Tande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Reynaldo Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Pinheiro in the 29th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Gernando Ortiz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Trovão MZC's Reynaldo Tande tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, Buritama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Buritama's attentive Júnior Schmidt managed to snatch the ball when Marcelo Saraiva made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Buritama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trovão MZC.
