The referee ignored KuPs KuoPio's protests and gave João Carlos Bittencourt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, João Carlos Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Mathias Varela made a huge save. Tony de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathias Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony de Godoi in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Imperial Nordeste F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Imperial Nordeste F.C.'s Mathias Varela got control of the ball when Tony de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, KuPs KuoPio's Tony de Godoi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mathias Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony de Godoi in the 28th minute. Mathias Varela made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Tony de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, KuPs KuoPio's Hudson Cardoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. With a little luck, Imperial Nordeste F.C.'s Mathias Varela got control of the ball when Hudson Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mathias Varela came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by KuPs KuoPio's Tony de Godoi. But to his dismay, Tony de Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reginaldo Mandrak to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Imperial Nordeste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tony de Godoi came free, but Mathias Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Jonathan Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Jonathan Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mathias Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KuPs KuoPio. When Alfredo Vander fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Moisés Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Tony de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Varela having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KuPs KuoPio's Dênis Trancoso got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Moisés Sá acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mateus Quirino. In the 84th match minute, KuPs KuoPio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. KuPs KuoPio's Hugo Pinheiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by José Vítor Moreira in the 87 minute of the game. Mathias Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson Cardoso in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Tony de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
